"Then & Now" concert, 2010 While many have opted for the fast lane to fame by joining reality talent searches on television, recording artist Myrus Ramirez took the path less traveled.   Dubbed as The Sentimental Prince of Philippine Music, Myrus was discovered through the social networking site  Friendster by public relations entrepreneur Chris Cahilig.    At the age of 20, he has made a mark in the music scene with the help of his mega hit single "Sayang," a cover of a  song popularized 30 years ago by Claire dela Fuente. Tunog Natin: A FREE OPM concert (PART 2)

Filipinos bring out their best in times of adversity — and now that Original Pilipino Music (OPM) is slowly fading, Filipino artists and audiences are working together to save it. Efforts are currently focused on the second leg of "Tunog Natin" free OPM concert series to be held at the grounds of Avida Towers Centera along EDSA Corner Reliance St. on July 23 at exactly 7pm. Presented by Avida Land Corp., the concert showcases the best of Filipino music through the years. Tunog Natin! concert series lobbies support for OPM

A FREE concert featuring some of the most distinguished and promising names in the local music scene will be staged at the Ayala Triangle Gardens on June 15 to lobby for public support for the slowly fading Original Pilipino Music (OPM). Presented by real Estate developer  Avida Land Corp. , "Tunog Natin! An OPM Concert Series" is a call to revive the Filipino audience’s interest for homegrown artists and locally-produced records. It is a series of concerts that the real estate developer will stage in key locations in Metro Manila in line with its upcoming milestone events and project launches.
